Several years ago I met Jude as many of you met her - as a Spanish Tutor. However, her life was vastly different than it is now. One of the first things I discovered is that the company that Jude was working for paid her approximately $25 USD per month for 6 hours of tutoring, 5 days a week. I felt that was outrageous. My answer was to become Jude's patron as it were and cover the costs that would enable her to set up a basic system that she could book clients (via SimplyBook.me) and tutor them directly via Zoom. There are many reasons why that needs to change.This photo is one my happiest moments.

Helping this family has been one of the best things I have ever done.
You never know who will make an impact on your life until you let them try.
The first reason is the annual costs, approximate $1500. The second reason is the ownership, Jude owns none of the infrastruture of her business - for all intents it is rented. The third reason is PayPal and Colombia do not play together - she still is in the position of having to sell her PayPal dollars to a third-party in order to obtain real money (Colombian Pesos) that she can use to live on.
Therefore, I am setting up a web-based system that Jude will own completely. It will enable her to book her customers in a more efficient manner, give her expanded capabilities if she chooses to offer them, and most importantly allow the money her clients pay her to go directly into her own bank account.
I have created this site to allow friends of Jude or, for the very few of you who exist, friends of mine to help cover these costs.
I am a 100% Disabled American Veteran (Combat-related disability) and was forced to join the ranks of retired veterans in November 2018. My health is deteriorating and I want to put this system into place before - well, before I can't.
The items that are listed in two of the three campaigns on this site are paid for already from my retirement funds. If you choose not to donate to this need, this will not stop Jude's site from becoming reality. If you choose to donate, you will help me and my family recoup the expenses that we have - and will continue - to provide. There is also an opportunity for you to help with future costs in a third campaign.
